Bahan-bahan: - 1 kg daging sapi tanpa tulang - 5 sdm minyak sayur - 2 kotak susu santan - 4 sdm gula merah - 3 sdm air asam jawa - 2 batang serai, memarkan - 4 lembar daun jeruk - 8 buah kentang, potong sesuai selera - 1 butir kayu manis - 5 buah cengkeh - 1 sdt jinten - 1 sdt adas manis - Garam secukupnya Bumbu halus: - 15 siung bawang merah - 10 siung bawang putih - 6 butir kemiri, sangrai - 5 buah cabe merah besar - 3 buah cabe rawit (atau sesuai selera) - 1 ruas kunyit - 3 cm jahe - 3 cm lengkuas - 2 sdt ketumbar - 1 sdt merica Petunjuk: 1. Panaskan minyak di dalam wajan. Tumis bumbu halus bersama dengan serai, kentang, dan daging sapi hingga harum. 2. Masukkan air asam jawa dan gula merah. Aduk rata. 3. Tambahkan air secukupnya dan biarkan masakan mendidih dalam api kecil. 4. Tambahkan daun jeruk, kayu manis, cengkeh, dan adas manis. Masak hingga daging sapi empuk dan kentang lunak. 5. Tuangkan susu santan dan aduk rata. Masak hingga kuah mengental dan bumbu meresap ke dalam daging dan kentang. 6. Cicipi dan tambahkan garam jika diperlukan.
